Reflection - Be humble. Our society does not place great value on humility. We fear being overlooked if we don't assert our own worth. In contrast, Mary sees herself as a "lowly servant" and speaks of the mercy in store for the downtrodden. Let the “magnificat”; the song of Mary, be your guide as you find ways to practice humility.
Prayer - In joyful anticipation we walk towards the truth of your coming O God, With thank you for our own lives, the moments of grace and love where we have known you and have seen you in others. We await the dawn of your arrival with eagerness for our hearts are filled with gratitude. Help us, in all we do and say, to reveal your hope and light to others.
