Over the past few weeks we have reflected on the Journey to the Cross, not an easy reflection and on occasion the walk with Christ to his cross reminds us of our own cross and fraility.
The week has been painful and hard for all of us, a death in the church family overwhelms and shocks us and we are shattered and devastated. Few words can offer comfort when the world around us is shaken to the core. When grief and despair consume, when we walk through the pathway of the valley Christ walks with us.
Lord God we meet you.
In the sudden silences,
In the intensity of pain,
In the heartache and in the tears,
We meet with you and you meet with us
