From today's gospel reading....
'For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
'Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
from John 3
To reflect on....
To believe in something is not quite the same as believing about something. Believing in involves a personal trust and commitment and believing about does not. Do I believe in Jesus?
Let's Pray....
Lord, I believe – forgive my unbelief. Take my times of doubt and questioning, and transform them by your Holy Spirit into strength and assurance as I offer my life to you. Amen.
